House Passes Pelosi’s “Socialist Wish List” That Republicans Call “Insulting” To American Families

The House passed a $1.9 trillion COVID Relief Plan in the middle of the night. What does that tell anyone about this so-called “rescue’?

Republicans and even two Democrats are slamming the House Democrats for passing the pork-filled socialist wish list. Last week, during an interview with Fox News about the bill, the term “left-of-Lenin, neo-socialist wish list” was used by Senator John Kennedy. He couldn’t be more right when he added that it is “chock-full of spending porn.”

Even Democrat Jared Golden opposed the plan saying, “During challenging times, the country needs its elected leaders to work together to meet the most urgent needs in their communities. This bill addresses urgent needs and then buries them under a mountain of unnecessary or untimely spending.”

Rep. Ashley Hinson from Iowa spoke on the House floor, saying Pelosi’s pork-filled bill is insulting to American families, children, and first responders.

The huge so-called relief plan has trillions in pork attached to it. Not a single republican voted for the bill, and two Democrats even voted against it.

Republican leader Kevin McCarthy said, “We ran the numbers. The amount of money that actually goes to defeating the virus is less than 9 percent…Less than 9 percent! So don’t call it a rescue bill. Don’t call it a relief bill. Call it the Pelosi Payoff.”
